Credit where credit is due. Would be remiss if I did not write to extend my sincerest thanks to golf pro Robert Letvinchuk, partnership owner of World Beat Family Golf Center in Kelowna, B.C. for his amazing skill, experience, insight and intuition about the game of golf to be able to rid my game of a menacing slice I have labored with for 5 decades. Since picking up my 1st golf club I have loved the fresh air, exercise, challenge and comradeship the sport generates. Thinking that endless practice and rounds, reading magazines and picking up tips from anyone and everyone would result in progress and eventual mastering of the game, a big mistake. I finally decided the sport was getting too expensive not to be playing well,improving and feeling good about every round. Following 20 min. of consultation and a one hour lesson, my slice was intentionally rolled over into a hook and as intentionally settled dead center and added 2 club lengths to my distance, with every club. I'm sure there are endless Golf Pros who can turn a sow's ear into a kit glove. I am over the top with Robert's style and the ease in which he didn't change what I was doing, he added what I needed to do it right. Great facility and amenities and a great golf pro.
